Here are just few examples of what can cause your snoring…
1) Your throat can be very weak and fall in when you sleep. This is very common for people who suffer from sleep apnea.
2) Weak tongue also falls into the throat and block it. This is very common if you sleep on your back but can also happen when sleeping on your site. 2) The tongue often falls into the throat, when it is too weak, and blocks it. This may happen even if you sleep on your side.
4)The Soft palate may be too weak and not firm enough and will lay too close to the tongue, making it very easy to flap around and make the irritating snoring sounds. 5) Any muscle that is tense or weak around the breathing passage can put a pressure on it and make you snore. Very common is tension in the shoulders and neck.
6) Anything that builds up in the throat like far or tar from cigarettes. This will block the throat.
These are only 6 common blocks but there are many more.
The real question is; how can we eliminate these blocks? So How Can You Get Rid of the Blocks That Cause Your Snoring ? Let me ask you a simple question: what would you do if your legs muscles were so weak and you couldn’t walk? Train them, right? How about doing the same with your breathing passages? How about working out the breathing passages?
The beauty of working out your breathing passage is that the same exercises will work for what ever may be blocking your throat.
Training the tongue will strengthen in and by doing that, prevent it from dropping into your throat when you sleep. The tongue exercises will strengthen the tongue and help it regain just the right amount of flexible tension to stay out of the throat. Loosing up the Jaw, using the jaw exercises will remove any tension from it. You’ll be surprised how much easier you’ll breath after you do the Jaw exercises. The Jaw exercises will loosen up the jaw and help it reach its healthy normal position where it won't press on the breathing passage. The neck and shoulder exercises do the last trick. They remove tension from your neck and shoulders. Tension there leads to tension in all muscles around your head and throat. So it’s very good to loosen these muscles up. And finally, the throat exercises will strengthen the throat and lift the soft palate.
How much effort you want to put into this is up to you. Training for as little as 3 minutes will do the trick.
How long you exercise every day is up to you. You can train for as little as three minutes a day.
